As the parent non-profit corporation the entire purpose of GMI is to reach the poor and needy of this world with the life changing message of Jesus Christ by equipping its people with the skills and spiritually to effectively fulfill that mission by God's grace.

NEARLY 30 YEARS OF SERVICE

The founders of these ministries, Jim and Gloria Porteous, both doctors of divinity and lovingly called dad and mom by all, as a team, have ministered to the poor and distressed since 1963.

The Lord has opened missionary doors of service through GMI and, by associating with other international missions, there are at present nearly 100 areas of service for those seeking placement in missions. The fourth "A" that is prayerfully sought by all of GMI is:

ALL THE WORLD

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.'
