GRASER WINERY Is Located at 255 Pertrified Forrest Rd. Calistoga, CA 94515 - Tel/Fax (707) 942-4437 Petrified Forrest Road connects with Hwy. 128 about one mile north of Calistoga, and Graser is one mile from the intersection.

Winding up the wooded driveway, off Petrified Forrest Road, a visitor to Graser Winery might feel like he is moving back through time into the 1800's. In this atmosphere so evocative of the past, a visitor must remind himself that Graser Winery is very much a part of the 1900's.

The hills surrounding Graser Winery provide a natural barrier to arid winds. The Diamond Mountain location, and 900 feet elevation help provide Graser Ranch with its own unique micro-climate. This micro-climate and the rich, dark soil that the vines are planted in add to the unique flavor and quality of the wines.

Richard Graser has planted Cabernet Sauvignon for the most part, with some acres of Merlot and Cabernet Franc for blending. The vines yield a classic, Bordeau style Cabernet, a wine increasingly popular with California vintners and consumers.
