Hitching Post Wedding Chapel Confidential License

The confidential license is issued to adults over 18 years of age, who are living together. This is a legal license, issued by the state of California. Wedding Chapels such as ours serve as an extension of the County Courthouse for your convenience.

No blood test and no witnesses are required for the license.

For persons under 18 years of age, other requirements are necessary. You must contact your courthouse for further information.

NOTE

There is no time limit saying how long you must have lived together, BUT, you will be required to sign an affidavit as proof.

Also, a picture identification is required, such as a driver's license, state ID, Military ID, or a passport.

The date of any previous marriage ending is required. You must bring paperwork for marriages ending in the last 12 months
