Poem - In Memory Of A Very Dear Person |
Jerry and Shirley have been friends and supporters of our ministries for many years. She
was and Jerry still is very mindful of the Lord's will in ministering to the disadvantaged
and to children. Together they planned how they could serve the Lord and fulfilled those
plans by assisting and becoming involved in the work of the Lord. We will all miss Shirley.
Shirley was known for her radiant smile, her friendliness and her obvious love for people.
Jerry is the same way. They made a wonderful couple. They complimented each other. It was
a joy and a pleasure to be with them. As would anyone who has lost their beloved to the
grave, Jerry would give anything to have Shirley back with him again, but thank God for
the reality that the Lord has promised the faithful a reunion with their loved ones in
glory some day. Praise His holy Name forever and forever.
Jerry is determined to carry out the plans he and Shirley made to continue helping our
ministry. In fulfilling their combined desire Jerry is offering the raffle of his
beautiful 1949 delux Chevrolet pickup with the proceeds going to help support LightHouse
Village Ministries.
What a marvelous gesture of love and generosity. They will be rewarded for their faithfulness
to the Lord's work.
A section below describes the vehicle and explains the raffle.
You are to be commended also for your continued faithfulness these many years of serving
the poor and disadvantaged. The Lord will reward you.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed
toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
We will be seeking to minister to the needy this Easter (Resurrection)
season more than usual. If you know of any family or person that is truly needy, please
give us a call or refer them to us. Of course we want you to do that even when it is not
a special holiday or season.
NOTE: Gifts and contributions to this ministry are tax-deductible, but purchase of raffle
tickets are not tax-deductible. Please make your raffle tickets purchase above your gift
for this month.
NOTE: Monetary gifts and contributions to LightHouse Village or Gospel Ministries
International are used in our Mission Ministries and are not used to support Inner
City Christian Academy are needed and are gratefully acknowledged with a tax deductible

pray for you often that the Lord will bless you abundantly.

Poem submitted by Jerry Mazzini
In memory of his beloved late wife Shirley
in Memory of...
a Very Dear Person
and a cure was not to be;
So He put His arms around her,
and whispered "come to me".
With tearful eyes we watched her,
and saw her fade away;
although we loved her dearly,
we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands to rest;
God broke our hearts to prove us,
He only takes the best.
There were numerous words of kindness and expressions of love for
Shirley Mazzini at her heavily attended graveside service in Lodi California.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope
by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible,
and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept
by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
